Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This policy explains how Binary Pulsar Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use LFS Harbor (lfsharbor.com). We are subject to the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Binary Pulsar Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered address is 13 Freeland Park, Poole, BH16 6FA, United Kingdom.

For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at hello@lfsharbor.com.

What data we collect

We collect and store the following personal data:

  • Email address — collected when you create an account. Used to send one-time passwords (OTPs) for authentication and, where necessary, critical notices about the service.
  • Purchase records — when you purchase a licence, we store your user ID alongside the licence record. We do not store any payment card details or billing information — these are handled entirely by Paddle, our payment processor.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or any behavioural tracking.

Cookies

We use cookies solely for authentication purposes — to keep you signed in during your session. We do not use any third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session
  • Deliver OTP codes needed to sign in
  • Link your account to licences you have purchased
  • Send critical service notices (for example, important changes to the service or your account) — we will never send marketing emails
  • Respond to support requests you initiate

Our legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract (providing the service you purchased) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and operational.

Third-party services

We share limited data with the following third parties:

  • Paddle — our payment processor. Paddle handles all payment data directly. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Paddle acts as the merchant of record.
  • Authentication provider — manages account creation, OTP delivery, and session handling on our behalf.
  • Sentry — used for error tracking to help us identify and fix technical issues. Error reports may include limited technical context such as browser type and page URL, but we configure Sentry to avoid capturing personal data.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data from our systems. Some data may be retained for a short additional period in encrypted backups before being purged.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@lfsharbor.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the site. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
